Position Available (Liberia - English West Africa hub)

AMAKA CONSULTING INC. is a provider of environmental, health, safety, risk, social consulting services, and sustainability-related services. We work with community organizations, delivering innovative solutions, and helping them to understand and manage their sustainability challenges. To do this, we have a dozen experienced professionals in Liberia and working to including Anglophone countries in the West African Subregion.


For nearly 20 years we have been working with clients in West and East Africa as well in the United States in diverse industry sectors to help them to understand and manage their environmental, health, safety, risk, and social impacts. The Oil & Gas, Mining, and Power sectors face critical sustainability challenges, and our clients in these, and many other areas rely on our ability to assist them to operate more sustainably which has a positive impact on our planet.


To support the successful delivery of AMAKA CONSULTING INC. proposals and projects in line with our vision, values, and our strategic imperatives by:

  • Adhering to all AMAKA CONSULTING INC. and client requirements, specifically those related to H&S and governance.

  • Applying client/sector knowledge when carrying out tasks associated with drafting project deliverables and or proposals.

  • Using AMAKA CONSULTING INC.’s methodologies and technologies consistently in line with AMAKA CONSULTING INC. and client expectations.

  • Managing and successfully delivering small discrete projects/tasks and /or specific deliverables or phases of work on larger projects.

  • Supervising subcontractors during fieldwork, ensuring they comply with AMAKA CONSULTING INC.'s Health & Safety policies and ABC code and work is completed in line with project scope
