Amara leads Amaka Consulting's Capabilities Practice across all the regions of the firm's presence. Our Capabilities Practice includes our functional areas and our innovation priorities. He focuses on bringing the best of the firms' expertise, data, and solutions to clients, and shaping our future capabilities to meet our clients’ evolving needs.

A member of Amaka Consulting's Board of Directors, and our regional leadership team, known as the ImpactTeam, Amara previously served as the managing partner of Amaka Consulting's East Coast with headquarters in New York and before that as managing partner of our SOCIAL, HEALTHCARE & PUBLIC ENTITIES Practice in the ECOWAS region.

He works alongside his clients to bring Amaka Consulting's latest innovations in digital, technology, capacity development, and analytics to help achieve above-market growth, serving leading organizations in the risk and resilience, resource development and capacity building, consumer, media, services, and industrial sectors.

Amara is the author of "Direct Support From A Manager's Viewpoint; which distills insights from frontline approaches to social and healthcare support techniques. He has a master of science degree in Human Services from Capella University, a master of arts degree in international relations from the American Military University, and a master of science degree in nonprofit management from New England College.
